Last updated ยท By Team ToolkitHere
Every claim on ToolkitHere must be true and checkable. This page explains how we write, check and update our tool pages, blog articles, format explainers and comparison pages.
Who writes our pages?
Pages are written and checked by Team ToolkitHere, the small independent team that builds and tests the tools. Seeabout us. The author and the date of the last real change are shown on every page.
What do we promise about our claims?
- We only say a tool can do something after we have tested it. See how we test.
- We use the same wording for the same claim on every page, so nothing contradicts anything else.
- Every tool page has a "What this tool can't do" list. If a limit exists, we say so.
- We never call anything "official", and we never imply a platform endorses us.
How do we write about other apps and devices?
- We check every step against the app maker's own help pages, and on a real device where we can.
- We show the date we last checked on the page.
- Anything we have not been able to check yet is marked in our drafts and is not published as fact.
- When an app changes its menus, we update the steps and the page date.
How do we write comparison pages?
- We compare real options, including free ones and doing it by hand.
- We say who each option suits, including when another option suits you better than ours.
- We only state facts we have checked, with the date we checked them. We never claim to be "the best".
When do dates change?
The "last updated" date changes only when the content really changes: new steps, corrected facts, new sections. We never change dates just to look fresh.
Do ads or sponsors affect what we write?
No. ToolkitHere may show ads to stay free. Advertisers have no say in what we write, which tools we recommend or how we compare options. We do not accept paid placements in comparisons.
How do I report a mistake?
Email hello@toolkithere.com with the page address and what looks wrong. We check every report and update the page if we got something wrong. Please never send us your personal files.
